Default JLAudio 12w6s amp?

They are not mine though. My brother just got them for $450 at a local authorized dealer. Good deal? He asked me to help him find an amp. What amp would you guys recommend for a pair of 12" W6s?

LINK

Thanks.

Elemental Designs nine.1 or RE Audio 12.1 would do the trick, anything US Amps would do awesome as well

We've looked at the RE 12.1 and the ED NINe.1 reviews and specs and they both look like awesome amps at a good price. My brother also likes the jl 1000/1, but hes kind of short on $$$. The mtx 1501d is also a nice amp.

How many watts do you guys think would be safe for these subs? They are rated at 400w RMS, (think they are underated). Do guys think they can handle 600w each?

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I think they could handle 600 watts as long as you are careful with the volume ****.. If the amp clips it generally sends double its power so your looking at 1200 a piece and that definetely do some damage.. as long as you are careful you will be ok..
