Default if you were gonna

purchase an aftermarket cd player and an amp to power 2 6x9's what would you buy? keep in mind features, wattage, etc.also i might add a 10" woofer later on so i might need an amp to handle all three.

Last setup was unbeatable-Alpine head, JL Audio amps.

I ran Focal fronts, Pioneer rears, JL Stealthbox 12" Sub.
Clean, Loud but not obnoxious.

your never going to get anykind of power out of a deck, so just find a deck (Kenwood/Alpine prefered) that had decent RCA output and get an amp, the alpine MRP-F450 would be nice depending on what kind of sub you want to run. Also WHY 6x9's?

i'm not looking for power out of a deck thats why I asked about the amp too. i'm looking for clarity and options in a deck. as far as the 6x9's i already replaced the factories and looking for just a little more bass and mids and i already have the 6x9's. i dont want a **** load of bass.

I just dont really like 6x9's I would do some nice front 6.5's off a MRP-F450 and 1 type-e 10 under the rear seat (briged off the rear ch's) of 2 infinity ref. 10's and run the rear 4x6's off the deck

I'm running a Pioneer DEH-P6800MP running Infinity Ref. 6.5 coaxials up front with an Alpine amp powering one JL Audio 12 in an older JL vantage enclosure. Totally ignoring the factory rear 4x6's for now.

6x9's aren't exactly the best fit for a Silverado, might want to consider going with 6.5 or 6 3/4 up front.

6x9"s are so 80's

6.5"s Diamond Audio M6s, Eclipse deck and JL Slash sries amp if you can afford them. Single 10" and you'll have a clean, if not loud, system.

6x9s wow! Blast from the past!

I agree with the above statement on the FOCAL, I had them in my F-150 and LOVED them....best sounding on the market IMHO.
