Default how to keep on star and wheel controls

I would like to upgrade the HU in my 04 GMC. it has factory Bose system with XM, On Star and wheel controls. I would like to keep my On Star and steering wheel controls. I really like to get a Pioneer DVD/Nav system, but i need to keep my On Star and wheel controls.

check out a company named PAC. I don't have onstar, but I have xm/bose system/redundant steering wheel controls. I bought their SWI-X module which retains all the stock buttons. You have to program it, but it's simple and the memory is non-volatile so if the battery disconnects the settings won't get erased.

Here's the website, they're worth every penny and the tech support is great

I bought my module for 40 bux shipped on eBay

I have never used PAC but Perfireal (sp) the harness to connect everything together will interface with onstar just make shure to get the right one. and as far as the steering wheel controls go worked for about a week and then all of a sudden out of the blue volume would just shoot full blast tried everything and still couldnt get it to work so idk about that.
