ok this is very strange i have had my scan guage in the ss for over a year with no problems , i recently installed an alarm and strange things started happening. my scan guage now takes a long time to turn on and it doesent scan very fast, like it only updates the scan every 5 seconds instead of 16 times a second. but when i use hpt it scans fine. they did tap into the purple wire but when i had this problem i un hooked this connection and it still does it. now im thinking ok maybe its the guage, but i hooked it up in my camaro and it works fine. i did this twice just because im so lost. im really frusrated with this and have no clue what is going on. any ideas?
