Default fan controllers

i put ls1 fans on my truck this weekend, i have went through 2 fan controllers and one home made wiring job with 4 different people helping me along the way and nothing is working right. one fan controller makes the fans run nonstop, the other doesnt work at all and my home made wiring job drew too much current from the fuel pump to allow my truck to even start (only one fan wired up) so i moved it to an ignition relay, now the truck runs but diesels for a second after i turn the key off. everything runs perfectly when the fans arent wired up though. can somebody help me? thanks

until I can get my harness made, mine is hooked up to a toggle switch and I hooked it into the heater power source. When I shut my truck off, the lights and heater stay on until the fan stops spinning. I'm hooking mine up to the computer hopefully this weekend, I'll have to let ya know how it goes.

Yes, is there a better way to wire in fans rather than spending a c note on the Nelson harness?

i used controllers i bought at advance auto that were $26 each, and neither of them work correctly. i wish i had used that money and bought a harness that works.

Build your own? Switch them manually?
