Good deal man I think you will be happy with your choice is thise going in the tahoe? If so why not go ahead and put the 6.5s in there it owuld be so easy.

Blue01 you are experiencing exactly what I am telling these guys as far as the rear speakers are concerned. Some people cant tell the difference between a BOSE system and a good aftermaret system but I think everyone in here since they are obviously interested in stereos are a little more fine tuned to the sound of their system.

I am in no way an expert when it comes to systems but I had seriously 12 setups in my S-10 and only one in my Z71 since I finally figured out what works and I am jsut trying to save people the money that I wasted on my setups. FYI 3 15" Solobaric L7s in an extended cab S-10 will work wonders for your hearing

in my opinion you dont need anything to crazy in the rear just a nice clean sounding speaker. have any of you guys tried just putting a 4 channel amp on the stock speakers. it makes them sound 100x better. for the rears in my truck i used clarion 4x6 plates and i used a memphis component set in the front.

a good set of 4x6's in the back will sound just fine. just like everyone said, spend your money on a quality pair of components
