Default E-fans HELP!

Well long story short AJ and I put his old Perma-Cool fans in my truck. Got it all wired then flipped the switch off, started the truck, flipped the switch and nothing.

So, we checked all the fuses and our wiring and nothings wrong with it. Now my "cargo lamp on" message displays with the key off (despite its not on and wont turn on) and my passenger side door wont lock or unlock with the remote or switch??? its a 2000 Silverado 4.8 I'd really like to know what fuse I need to change or switch.

The fans are wired like this: 2 wires come out of the fans, one for power and one as a relay basically. The power hooks directly to the battery (+) and then the relay to our switch which is in the cab (manually op.). Then the power for the switch is in the driverside fuse panel on an open slot. What do I do?

So the hot wires go the the battery?
and your breaking the ground with the relay?

Can you hear the relay click?

I would run your switch power wire to the orange accessory wire under the steering column, you will only get power when the key is turned to acc, then if you forget to turn the fans off they will turn off when you take the key out.

wow good advice guys. Actually it turns out I popped 2 15A fuses (causing dome light to not work, power door lock on pass. side, and an inaccurate 'cargo light on' message). So fixed those 2 after tearing apart the whole lower dash with my dad thinking maybe I shorted a relay or circuit under the dash... Ended up breaking out the test light to find only one side of the fuse we checked in the 1st place had power. **** my life. Got it all done, rewired the fans back to how they were with the exception that I can keep the switch on and as long as the key's off they wont turn on. 3hrs later and my LP light is back to working as well.
/end story.
