downfired sub box for reg cab
#1
i want to build/have built(by pro) a box like this
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=393676
but i have no idea how the inside of it is done. wondering if i could make this and then make a top or something to put over it like a place to mount a few gauges and maybe some cupholders
or if you have any other suggestions on how to mount 1 JLAudio 10W3v3 in a reg.cab truck without moving the seats forward ANY

just build the box rectangular to fit between the seat and dash as in the picture and use fiberglass to contour it to the dash however you want it....

My bad...Ghostbusters Custom = lots of work
I'd start with cardboard templates. Cut a piece to fit where and what shape so it will clear the sub, trace it onto 3/4" mdf, then trace that part onto another sheet and you will have two identical parts. Then just figure out how big the rest of the parts need to be. Since it looks like it will have non 90* angles, some bondo might be in order to get the edges and corners smooth.
