Default Air/Fuel Gauge

I got a autometer air/fuel ratio gaugefor my 2006 cc with a 5.3 and was curious what wire I needed to tie into on the o2 sensor?? What is the best way to do this?? Thanks for any info...

Is it a wideband O2? If so I think they use a proprietary O2 sensor and you will need a bung to be welded into the mid pipe before the cat.

Don't bother hooking up a gauge to your factory narrow-band sensor, it's a waste of time and $$ unless all you want is a light show.

I sure hope not. That'd suck if I can't use whatever brand on my Autometer wideband. I need to hook mine up; now I gotta check myself.

Most wideband kits use the Bosch wideband O2 sensor. It's actually an OEM sensor from a Volkswagen.

That was what I thought. Bosch does the o2 for our trucks, then GM slaps the ACDelco name on the bag, if I remember right.

That's better than the $90 Summit wants for the Autometer brand wideband O2 sensor. I havn't been able to find an alternative yet but mine still works for now.
