Sundown is getting great reviews of their 8's

 

I have 2 DD Audio 1000b Series 8" running 1000 watts, and I couldnt be happier. I have a crew cab with them installed behind the seat. I tried alot of different combinations on my truck and main objective was to get something with out modifying the truck, other than removing the rear flap and triming the ears that hold it and getting the bass I wanted. I had the following subs - 2 tens, then 2 12's, then 3 12's, then 2 12's, then 2 8's dd 1500 series, then 2 dd audio 1000 series. I surprise everbody when the hear it, I jsut tell them " I bet you are going to laugh when you see the subs".. Been beating on them for about a year with no sweat.

But look at the price difference in DD and Sundown

I'm guessing you could prob get them a little less from a dealer.

SA08=$135

 

which is why I will go the SA route
