Default 8 inch sub question.

okay i got a question.
im looking in to getting just 2 8 inch subs, but i want some that are still going to be very loud. ive heard very good things about sundowns sa 8's, also ive seen some jl w7 8's and seen how loud they are. the only problem with the jl's are the price.

so im asking what would you guys recommend for 2 8 inch subs?

the box i have right now is made for 12s but i was either going to change the box or just build a new one. the box is for underneath my back seat in a 00 gmc sierra ex cab. each side of the box is 1 cubic foot of air space.

I would, and did, definitely go with DC audio Level 2 8's. Very similiar to the sundown 8s, but i think dc stuff is a little better, i have 4 of them, and my friend had 1 of my 8s in her ext cab 07 tacoma on like, 500 rms (maybe) and it was doing like 133s. Im expecting with 1k watts per sub, with all 4, and proper tuning, to see 142dbs. PM me if you want dc's, got a buddy thats a dealer for them and can hook you up on a set of them, and you'll undoubtedly pay less for them then you would the sundowns or dds. (and dont waist your time on the JL's, theyre way over priced, way over sized, and cant handle anywhere near the power of the DCs.)
