Default Belanger long tubes on order

Ordered some Belanger Ceramic coated long tubes, 3 inch ceramic midpipes with high flow cats yesterday.

They sure are proud of them puppies. Broke me for sure.

Last time I checked, they only allow you to run short not long/tube headers here in California. They (DMV) wouldn't even let you run any headers at all until the last couple of years.
Not that stopped anybody
NO headers for me yet...the S/C likes the back/pressure!

I bought them from a vendor on SRT10Forum.com - John Stuttle.

Quick, I am in St. Louis. We have emissions testing, but on newer cars and trucks they only hook into the OBD port and check for codes. Don't even do a sniffer test. I should be good to go with the high flow cats.

I wanted the Mopar headers for mine, but couldn't get them because of emissions here in Pa. Good luck with yours. Mine is in the shop right now getting Gibson ceramic headers put on. Does anyone know if you have to wrap the plug wires or anything else to protect from the heat?

I think the plug wires will be okay just making sure they are routed as far away from the headers as possible and not touching anywhere.

I am going to put on a starter wrap, available thru Summit for $30 or less.

V10 headers look cool.

$2600 for headers and cats makes the SS Supermaxx for Silverado's @$1300 sound like a steal. Maybe I'll get them after all.
