Nice touch especially with the added gussets. At least you will have the protection should you need it.

Such a low cost upgrade that even a street truck could benefit from. A few guys recently had them let go in the past month on this site.

The driveshaft loop is a Lakewood universal, about $100, then we spent about 6 hours dropping the gas tank, and fabricating, and install completion, reinstalling the gas tank etc.

Here is a picture of the suspension limiting chain kit from Racecraft Inc (on the front of the truck, just installed today), it required fabrication to install, the tabs are tig welded on and then painted, there are a lot of adjustment with these that I didn't have before(I just had chain links on before). It will be nice to just move the dowel pin around so it isn't loaded on the street, then just change it at the track. We will be trying different settings with this next week.

Nice setup. Only have seen that a few times

How are you like the 2-leaf rear springs v. the 3-leaf pack?

And just interested, why didn't you guys go with more of an overall drop or a flip-kit? Any benefits of your setup v. other options?

My guess would be to have more suspension travel since it's his daily driver.

I feel that the 2 leaf rear feels about the same as the 3 leaf rear, it felt that it handled better most likely just because it's lower to the ground. Just thought it would be better for a daily driver and maybe have less axle wrap.

That chain setup for the front looks nice.
