Are they anything like the 5.2's? Had one of those for 130k+ miles and never had a problem. Tranny was going out but the engine was fine. It even survived a tank of pure water and sludge.

i've seen even more 4.7s blow up than 5.2s.

to be honest with you i drive a 4.7 on a daily basis and havent had any problems out of it and we havent had any come into the shop for engine or tranny problems.

Why not just get a DuraMax/Cummings/Powerstroke 4 door 4x4?? would be good racecar hauler/ people hauler.

i'm not saying every one will have problems, i'm just stating the fact that i have seen many low mileage dodge engines blow up. i have never seen a stock gen3 blow up.

Hey Steven, I saw that truck on the lot when I was in town last weekend. Looks pretty damn good for the price. Considering its black it had relatively few scratches and stuff. How many miles does it have on it?

60k i think. i can get those scratches fixed easily. i still havent decided yet. i need to do something before its gone though. these dodge trucks have a ton of room. you wouldnt believe it if youve never rode in one.
