started pulling the motor last night

Default started pulling the motor last night

from my donor camaro. we found a pretty big hole in the pcv line. no telling how long its been there no wander the 237/242 112lsa cam sounds sick in the car lol. is it normal to be dirty as **** underneath the intake manifold? it was pretty gross under there but you could tell that the gakets on the intake were keeping that crap outa the runners. atleast i think they were. damn i cant wait to get this motor in my truck maybe i can find some help to get it done over x-mas break

hell no! lol. its guna be a stock ls1 cam for a while. either for the 98camaro or 99 camaro. whichevers in the best condition out of the 2 we have

yeah its normal to be dirty under there. washing the motor down more often would help.

so were pulling the heads to get the motor out of the car and to pull the springs. whats the best method for cleaning the heads up while they are off. they are pretty nasty lookin

MrDestinE suggested Varsol as the best thing to clean them up. You can get it at the hardware store or autoparts store.

I didnt have to clean them cuz he hot tanked them for me. I know mine were nasty as ****!
