Finally started on my head swap for the 04 ecsb. Got as much taken off as i could until the rain shut me down.
Still a good ways to go but at least now i want to get it done so i can drive the truck with some new ponys under the hood!!!!
Just thought i would share since i'm excited about doin it finally.
Oh yeah Derek i may need my jack back some time this weekend.....

All i gotta do is put the heads on replace the bad starter...replace the bad oil pan seal...bring it to the driveline shop and have em fix the vibration and instal my 3.73 gears at the same time.
Then put me a real convertor in the truck.
But really i should start getting parts for the reg cab in about a month i'd imagine.
I have to order my edelbrock heads from Richard at WCCH...pick a cam for it.
Get a fast 90/90 setup and all the stuff to go with it so it will work and bolt on.
Order my FLT lvl 5 tranny and get a ss3600 convertor for it.
Other than that just little odd and end parts to get...ported oil pump, double roller timing chain, ls6 pcv conversion, arp rod end bolts.
It sounds like alot but it's nothing more than making a couple calls to about three differant shops ya know.
I'm ready just want to finish the other truck before i go ***** deep into the new one.

Once I have that, I can buy the greatness that is Chevy and start modding as well.
