went and met slowprocess, greyghost4x4 and thatguy at the track in hattiesburg tonight.

rain had come through shortly before the track opened and the air was decent for this time of year. maybe 80ish degree temps


anyway, truck had a full tank of gas in it.


heres the results.

1/8th mile on that run was a 7.82 @ 87.99mph

best part of the night was the fact there were about 30 mustangs there. all were slow but one. i ended my night with a 03/04 cobra win. i was heading back to pack up my stuff after hot lapping a newer mustang. i sprayed him then hot lapped and ran motor just to prove a point.

guy in cobra stops me and asked if i wanted to run. we go line up and off we go. i kill the guy out of the hole. at the 1/8th mile make my nitrous starts to surge on me. he then starts to come back on me but i held out for the win.

John had some great passes for sure!!! There must have been some sort of cobra meet last night, because there was a ton of them there. Too bad none of the mustangs wanted to line up with a pair of stock Camaro SS's.

There was one BADASS SS that was coming out of the gate looking at the sky. That thing was just nasty!!! Track seemed to be hooking really well last night, and the air was as cool as it is going to get this time of year.

My car is still stock therefore slow, but I was kicking *** on the light at least. Reaction times on my two passes were .510 and .550. Not too shabby I guess.

Did I mention my car is slow.

 

the computer man is supposed to be here today to fix my motherboard. when that gets done i am going to upload the few runs we recorded.

i took the front and rear seat out on these runs.

it has a quicker et in on motor but the only motor pass i did for the night was when i hot lapped a mustang gt. it backed up the 13.4. i'm sure it would have dropped another tenth had the engine not been warm. oh well. winter time comes everyone should cut some crazy times at the track

yea. he came last week to replace the video graphics card but that wasn't the problem. now they say it's the mother board. he called this morning and said he'd be here between 10 and 12. i'm still waiting...
