I've been having problems cutting a decent 60' at the strip with my setup. The 3400 converter, which only flashes to 2700 on motor, just isn't enough when paired up with my 220* cam. Check out the log below. You can see the RPMs some what flash to the 2700-2800 area and then it almost levels off. RPM then begins to rapidly increase around 3400-3600.

My best 60' was a 1.87 which put my H/C 5.3 to 13.1 (sig). I talked to Dave @ Yank and he's letting me do a trade in. Only charges on my part is shipping. In exchange for my 3400 I'm receiving a 9.5''/3600 converter. This one should flash to 3600 and have 5000-RPM shift extensions. I'm expecting much better short times next go around.
Moral of the story : Watch out BlueCajun

I'd like to log that same data when I get my truck back on the track. I don't think my converter is working like it should either. I'll probably need to send mine back and get at least a 3600-3800.

I have that converter Kyle.... it is definitely strong... I havent had it to the track yet, or been able to hook up on the street
to see where it will flash to on motor much less on the 150 shot... I'm guessing it will go to at least 33-3400 in my ext cab with 224/227 cam..... Just FYI...
