i definitely want to do the tb bypass but i am not sure it i have to burp the cooling system. i am not sure how to do that either if i have to do it. the p&p tb is also on my list of things to do. i thought that the egr mod caused problems too?? i am considering getting rid of the upd and getting a volant. anyone with a volant want to trade for my upd?

ive done the egr mod to alot trucks and none had a problem at all. As far as the intake goes keep the upd and route a ram air(home made)tube up under the stock lower box. Then drill little holes in the front lower box. Also there is a rubber flap in the front of the box, if you remove it. it will let air from your grill in towards your intake. As far desreen the maf allen never had a problem with tuning both trucks.

whats wrong with the upd? i love mine. i got a volant ram air tube and ran it up under the stock box. i feel like it is getting every bit as much air as any other intake out there. atleast cut a hole in the bottom of your box. i can put my hand inside of the "ram" part of my tube and feel its sucking in more air.
