i don't see it that way.
right now i pay less for the same amount of gas then they do.
so my dollar can buy more then their euro.
it wont be much longer i will be paying the same price as they do.

All of these changes in value are part of the floating exchange rate and are normal. The fluctuations go against us sometimes, and they will go in our favor other times. People cry wolf when it's part of the natural fluctuation.

This is the reason the price of everything is going up.

Between the value of the dollar being down and the minimum wage increase. The companies want to make up for it.

Hence, why McDonalds marked up their breakfast combos by more than $1. They have to maintain sales $$$ b/c of the minimum wage increases. The McD's on Hwy 73 in Dutchtown had a laminated sign in the window saying so.

The strippers at the Hustler club still acted like a dollar is worth something this past weekend. Yet another reason to love strippers! They might single handedly save our economy.

The only thing way that the minimum wage increase helps is if you already have a note (house, car, whatever) then you have a little more to spend on it. I say a little because everything else is going to cost you more. (Gas, Food, Services, Ect)

The increase is just a false sense of security that the Government tells you is gonna make all the difference in the world.

Oh and AMEN on strippers
