By the call FLT im not saying anything more then just ask a reputable builder if they will warranty a tranny without a shift kit, a performance build that is.

Yes I know what hard parts are. Have them in my 4l60e that i am more then satisfied with. But a shift kit is something that WILL help prolong the life of a tranny. Putting a shift in a high mileage 4l60 will cause it to bust. But his is a very low mileage, heck its an 07.

of course in 07's situation, i see no problems with that.
