Question is, can I afford it right now (depending on determination of issue)? May as well... lemme check with my accountant.

Good luck with the motor Ron. Vince
Thanks for the Good Luck wish... You're "disappointed" because the trans won a round?!?! I call that VICTORY! Finally built a trans that withstood abuse. Might it have something to do with some "special" parts? Now, maybe I'll spray the next setup. Maybe I'll break it then.

I'm taking Friday off to hunt for a few Christmas decorations in the morning after dropping the kids off to school. Should be done by 10am. Should have motor out around 1pm-ish. If my gauge of time goes as it seems, I can have the pan off before I pick up the kids from school @ 2pm. Should prove/disprove whatever with the rod bearings. Stay tuned...

Which led to this...

Had to go and pick up these...

In order to do this...

Thanks to this nice little piece...

I would go a bit further, and start the tear-down, but I promised my 4 yr old that I'd have Christmas lights up & around today. Plus, my 2 yr old OFFICIALLY made TWO today. Thinking about going to pick up the lil runts from day school early... since I'm off every Friday this month! WOOHOOO!!!

More pics to come... stay tuned...

You got some custom money to buy me some new ones? Cuz I had to notch the frame to make those fit due to my uncommon engine positioning.

Did debris from the one piston make it over into another cylinder?
