so we can't make any plans with friends or family. I'm ready to quit so I can go back to school. I'd love to be home everyday, right now we are on the way home from TN. Dunno what's goin on next week till friday, sometimes monday?

Goin out to eat at resturants gets old also.. I hate it now. I'd rather be eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at the house..
im in the same boat. i dont travel as far as you do but im still away from home.

it used to be maybe once a month now its every week. i cant stand it now. i work for my dad so its going to be hard for me to just quit. i am looking for new jobs with steady hours and around home. im 24 and just bought my first house. i want to be home to work on it and to enjoy it. hell my roommate enjoys the house more then i do. plus i plan on going back to school.

i say pass on it. it doesn't sound like you will be getting that much more money so i dont feel it would be worth it to be away from the g/f

After Interview Update:

Well the interview went extremely well this morning! The position would be on the development/testing team for our new Accounting System... For those of you who don't know I work for Lockheed Martin (One of the top Defense contractors in the US). Since I will be on the development team once the assignment is finished I will be able to write my own ticket in any position I want and that includes pay too!!! I will also be getting an increase in pay, roughly 15-20%!!!! The travel will not start until roughly 1-1.5 years from now...

I should know something in a day or two, but I would be shocked if I did not get the position...

The decision pretty much seems like a "no-brainer" to me, but I am going to discuss it with my GF too...

Sounds like it went well and you might be getting a new J-O-B.

Good luck!

Yikes. Remember, CZ...CZ....CZ....

It ain't about the ring, it's about the love!!

And besides, not all of the raise needs to be spent on her, think of your truck. It's your 'sweetheart' too.

Ring shopping yesterday was really fun, we had a great time! I want her to have something special/custom, something that no other women has... I really don't care on how much it costs, I just want her to be happy... As for my truck, hopefully it will be seeing some drastic changes coming soon!!!
