x2. I've been shot in the back of the leg with a bb gun and it didn't penetrate my jeans.
There are stronger guns out now that damn sure will, but not after bouncing off a tree.
If your brother lives in city limits, they shouldn't be firing a bb gun anyway, For that very fact.

my friend sells huskys and he's trying to get rid of two of his males for like 250 each I believe they're a little over a year. he sells every litter for no less than 450 to 500 a pup. let me know. both are registered.

i dont think it was an accident unless he completely missed the tree he was shooting at but accident or not, it's done. the guy that my brother said did it is a guy who comes and hangs out with my brother from time to time so i dont think he is mad at the guy. i thought i had found a 12 month old husky/shepard mix but after thinking about it and my brother saying specifically he wants a puppy i looked a little more and found a 12 week old husky for $125. im going to get her friday and my gf said she would buy a cage for her to give to my brother.

I am so sorry for your brother's loss. I wish I new someone with a littler of pups that would give away...

See if this link works, http://www.petfinder.com/search/sear...p=Dallas%2C+TX

Like hell they don't ricochet off trees! When i was younger, i shot at a tree... it bounced off and came right back and hit me just under the eye. Seriously. Never shot at a tree again.

however, a bb killed a dog? He sure it wasn't something else? B/c we use BB guns all the time @ the house and they will yelp... but be ok after a minute.... maybe a pellet gun... but even then.. idk.

It can kill if it hits them in the head and has enough velocity. Also depends on the animal.
My dog wasn't listening and started chasing the neighbors dog so I shot her in the thigh with a strong pellet gun. All she did was look because she heard a noise. Was bleeding a little where the pellet hit.
Never bothered to do that again because she acted like nothing happened.

I have a pellet rifle that I could kill a small dog with, but it would have to be a direct shot. It is a daisy competition rifle I think. This sounds more like shooting a .22 to me. Things dont add up in this story.

I know if someone killed either my dogs, friend or not, they would be getting their butt pounded.

If you ever go to San Diego. I recommend taking your dog if you can. There's a place called Dog Beach where they let the dogs run around and play. Great place to visit with the kids even. Those dogs have a hell of a good time out there.

Sure a pellet rifle and a well placed shot will kill a dog, but not a ricochet. This was an intentional shot, maybe not intended kill but shot was direct. Friend or not, I'm kicking ***.
