Default DFW area dogs

when i woke up this afternoon i read a text from my brother saying "call me when you wake up". i knew something was wrong since he doesnt normally call me or text me, especially with any amount of urgency. i called him back but he was at work. he returned my call when he got off and told me his neighbors were shooting a bb gun in their back yard this morning, a bb ricocheted off of a tree and killed my brother's dog. that dog was his life, he found her when she was a few days old and almost dead from malnutrition (sp?) and dehydration. he nursed her back to health and has done everything with her for over 4 years now she's gone. he's taking it pretty hard and i can't stand seeing him upset and depressed like he is.

he has always wanted a husky or a hound dog and i have taken it upon myself to find him one.(hopefully free or close to it) i have checked craigslist and emailed a few people but if anyone has or knows someone who has a husky or hound dog (or some kind of mix containing one of those breeds) could you please PM me.

I'm calling bull. BB's don't ricochet off of trees, unless they're made of metal. And if anything the velocity of the BB would have been at least slowed by the tree.

I am so sorry for your brother's loss. I wish I new someone with a littler of pups that would give away...

See if this link works, http://www.petfinder.com/search/sear...p=Dallas%2C+TX

idk how it all happened, they might have shot it directly but he said they told him it ricocheted. i dont want to ask him too much about it for a few days until he has had some time to calm down a bit.

i had him come to my place tonight, he has been playing with my puppy and keeps saying how bad he misses his dog. i feel horrible for him.

You're welcome Navy..

I wish I could tell you my female Rot was pregnant, but she's not. Looking to breed her next year with our male.

check out some of the rescue shelters, just google the type of dog + rescue shelter/group.... Good luck...

BTW I would go kick the **** out of the person who did it.... While video taping it... Then give the new dog and the tape to your bro....
