speaking of the house of hook, i have taken it upon myself to rename it the "house of bullshit" haha. yeah, its a nice track and is usually preped well, but if your not grudge racing for big money or on a bike be prepared to sit in the staging lanes all F'n night. i can't count the times i've sat in the staging lanes for 3 hours or more and watch the same few cars make 5 or so passes. don't know what their problem is but they apparently don't like street cars.

 

Everytrack seems to be like that...HOLT is really bad about that...the have street cars 30deep and they let the 6 drag cars run over and over again?

Screven Raceway/Screven, GA - 1/8th mile.....a brand new track so don't know much yet.
Savannah River Dragway/Savannah, GA - 1/8th mile.....hooks about average but nothing special about it. You can get plenty of run on it in a night.
Hinesville Dragway/Hinesville, GA - 1/8th mile.....about like Savannah.

Speaking of Jackson....they just had Braggin Rights '06 this year and it was a pretty good turn out from what I hear.

Yea- actually it was yesterday and today. I was supposed to go but my truck is still down. A buddy of mine actually runs that show, notchlx or hemicota on most sites.


I know what you mean about the waiting game at Carolina. We rented the track one Saturday last year though- the prep work was great and no waiting. Thats the way to do it LOL

 

Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, FL off of 64.. One of the best 1/4 mile tracks in FL.. IMO There also pretty lenient about the helmet and cage rule.. Track prep is also real good..
