well did a little street racing last night...

first was with the SRT-neon.... this car ran 13.8 with little bolt-ons and he just put alot of other **** in it?? I dont know exactly what but my barber knows this guy, that is why I know a little.... well I was at full weight with 3/4full of gas, and I was on the P.O.S. stock general tires...... I did used the bottle though....

all runs were from a 20mph roll....

first run he honked and he took off a little early... and I still jumped on him almost 1/2 a truck and spinning the whole 1st gear, by the top of 2nd he would catch to me and by 120mph he would have a good 2 cars in front....

second run... I honked this time.... spinning the **** out of all 1st gear, I still jumped on him with about 2 cars and it stayed like that till about 100mph (it did seem that he was catching up though) when he let off because there was a 18wheeler and few hundred yards away...

3rd run.... he honked and had the same results as in the first run.....

well he did won two of them .... but I sure know that with my e/t's I can get him pretty good.... my truck would literally go side ways right when juice would hit!! my friend would literally **** when the truck would go sideways.. damn p.o.s. tires... but we are going to get a date set to go to the track..... that's where you can really tell who's faster...

later on last night, there is a guy that drives a RCSB HEMI with some 22"centerlines... and word is he is spraying and has 4.56gears.... he has been whooping the **** out of alot of people on the street races .... so come to find out my brother knows him, so we set up a race last night....

1st run we went from a 20mph, punch... and again piece of **** tires.... but I still jumped on him and by about 110mph I had a good 4-5trucks on him.....

so we stoped and he said to run again.... I saw him change (adjusting some things inside his truck)... so se do it again from a 20mph rolll.... this time me still spinning he stayed right next to my rear tire all the way till about 70mph when I started easily pulling on him.... at about 120mph I had about 2trucks on him.....

stopped and chatted for a while... cool guy nonetheless... he admitted it, he said damn dude your truck freaking screams and goes!!... then he said well we'll have to do a rematch in about two weeks... I was like ok, but it'll have to be at the track!! he did ask me what I run, and I told hime 13.4

the Hemi did run good though for being on some big wheels, but centerlines are not heavy and he did have the 4.56gears.... Im pretty sure he can take me if I was running n/a.....

well I'll get back later..... going out right now to see what else I can find...

i read this in the other section. did the neon beat you twice or what cause i was confused when you said he had you 2 outa 3 runs. maybe it's me...my eyes are not what they used to be.

 

yeah he beat me on the 1st and 3rd run... and I got him on the 2nd run...

 

Good runs! I think those hemis are gonna be nasty when they have an effective way to tune for them. JMO
