Default Buying New Truck, Need Some Help!

Looking at a

Silverado/Sierra Texas Edition with 5.3L

or

Dodge Ram 1500 Lonestar Edition with 5.7L Hemi

What are the pros and cons of each and what would you but if you could?

Thanks

Dodge gets worse gas mileage, less aftermarket capabilities, but has lifetime drivetrain warranty that im sure will be voided with anything.

The aftermarket for GM is much better!

It would be new. I am favoring the chevy but Dodge is throwing awesome prices and lifetime warranty.

I am a GM guy at heart and i have to have aftermarket support so chevy is the only way to go in my book

what does it tell you when a company has to throw outrageous offers out to keep up

That is a good way to look at it. The Sierra's are so much nicer but are at least 1500 - 2000 more than chevy. I am pretty sure that will be my way to go. I heard dodge plugs your computer in and will decline your warranty due to excessive driving conditions and alot of idle time on the motor.

I know they are nice. I have test driven the chevy 3 times because it seems to be the favorite. Cheapest I have found so far is 27100.00 for the crew cab. Still shoping around.
