a friend called today, he has a 79 trans am with the 403 olds for $1,000. it has some body panels with some bondo patching that needs sanding and a quarter size piece of rust behing the right rear wheel. interior plastics cracked.......motor and transmission rebuilt 15k miles ago. so needless to say i bought a project, and the best part is i traded a boat and trailer i got for free it will sit for a while in the garage while i finish working on my house but i will try and have pics up in the next couple days...hmmmm how to mod it

thanks, im going to get pics tmrw. it needs alot of work but thats why its a project. im just worried about rusted floorboards, i know the body is pretty good, VERY straight

im gonna try and saty with the olds 403 because of it being numbers matching....or i would do a 6.0 trying to stay original with only a few mods. i want to get that 8:1 compression up so i can get some decent numbers
