Well i threw on the Caltracs today
Did a Royal Purple oil change
Replaced 3 wheel studs
Replaced AC condensor

It was a fun day.

I must say that i believe the Caltracs are going to help me out alot i have no wheel hopping issues at all!

Next week the 3600 stall may go in and then we can get some 11's

i dont think i can hit the 11's NA with this hot *** weather.
in the winter i will be 11's NA. but probably with more than 364ci

My best is a 12.40 @108 with a 1.69
Thats full weight with the 20's up front!

Im thinking if i shortbelt it take off the heavy 20's and with this extra stall speed (going from a 3k to 3600)
I may be able to break a high 11! We will have to see, currently to hit that mark im reliant upon my "cool weather in a Bottle"

the shortbelt trick did not work on the 6.0 for me? it worked on the 5.3 but not on the 6.0, I was told this before I tried it but didnt believe that person, until I saw the results for myself..

good luck on the 11's..

Have you considered changing cams? I do believe if you had some bump up from stock in compression a 226/230 LSK lobed cam would make your truck pull even harder up top and give you a little more torque.

DLH... did ya happen to drive that truck through the $3.00 carwash on Coursey? That should've been on your list. I do it every week to keep the dust off. No sense in spending 5 hours detailing 3 vehicles in my driveway, when this actually WORKS PRETTY WELL.

JFWY... Found a work-around for my traction problem.

Nope, not going to either. If i do change cams it will be in a bigger engine.
