Default 7th Tranny Bout to Go BOOM

Yep thats right. This will make the 7th time the trans has went out on me.
From broken output shafts=2times to rear planets, front planets, pump, drum, you name it i broke it.
I knew this one was gonna go as well because it was the same builder everytime but i was hoping it would last a bit longer.
Basically it did the exact thing it is now before and when it did it lasted a week or two but eventually snapped the rear planets.
1-2SHIFT got real firm instead of smooh at light throttle and on the 2-3 with anything more than 1/4 peddle it free revs. I let off and it bangs into gear HARD.
I wanted to make a few track passes on the 60E but i guess that ain't gonna happen.

So i'm moving on to a 80E soon.

In the meantime i'm gonna grab a stock 60e to put in the truck and just detune the truck...lower shift points by ALOT, and add TQ mang back into the tune.
Hopefully if i baby the truck it will last until i get a built 80E unit in so i can finally not worry about tranny problems anymore.

Just hope the 80E doesn't slow me down too much. What you guys think?

Stock?Any thing done at all? Does it have a converter? miles...how much?
I'm gonna get a built one from FLT i know that but i am needing something to get me goin for a little while in the meantime. Plus a stock 80E with a shift kit/servo might take a good bit of abuse from me.
Just need my 3400stall i want........

I would just go to an FLT Level 5 65e, no need for an 80e for a h/c 6.0 with a 150 shot. Look at what trevert1 and krambo are doing to their rigs and their 65e is holding strong. My 80e sucked from a dig, a 3400 stall would have made it better but not good enough IMO.

If you plan on keeping 370ci or less... I'd just get the built 65e.... my FLT-5 takes a beating everyday and has never even so much as studdered... it runs like a champ bro... I need for ANOTHER converter either, get yours cleaned and be about your way IMO...

Derek is right.
I will stay 6.0 for now but once this motor goes i won't be a stock cubed motor anymore.
My plans are 440+ once that happens.
Also right now the truck more than likely very close to 400rwhp or over looking at the speed it has and the weight it's moving.
The truck weighs DD at 5400-5600lbs and runs like a raped ape.
Ask Derek.....
Once i put the spray on the truck it's gonna be well over the FLT recommended 500hp level for safety.
Honestly i've done the 60e stuff and i'm gonna talk it over with Chuck tomrrow and see what he says but i think i'm better off with a 80E since i know the future holds alot more power for the ol girl.

Only way i'll need a differant converter is if i go to the 80E setup. Otherwise i'll clean out the Yankpt3200 in it right now and roll with it.
The tranny isn't busted yet and i don't plan on driving it cause i don't want trash in it.
So if Chuck says 65e lvl 5 will get r done then i'll get that and roll the 3200 again.
If not then 80E here i come with a 3400 2.7str yank.Cause me likes yanks.
Plus some 4.10 or 4.30's....still trying to pick haha.
