i have a 98 Z71 with a 350, nelson tune, CAI, and exhaust. I was at 4k rpm in OD with 3.73 and 33 inch tires. Im guessing 120ish???? because speed limiter is set at 130

 

I've done around 130 in my SS according to the nav unit I have (since the speedo only goes to 120). The truck probably would have done more but I had to exit.

 

all runs done on a closed course

162 with 3.42's in truck
7600 in 3rd gear 4.10's in truck.

 

It felt like my 03 SS was limited at 108, was I just imagining that? Anyway I just ordered a tune and removed the limiter so Ill be seein how fast I can get it soon.

 

~135. it was about 5500 rpms in 3rd gear with 342s.. It wouldnt pull any more. I think just not enough power limited it.
i had a whole interstate to myself when i did that.

 

Old truck I calculated 142 on old 3.42 gears...


New ride ('07 Cobalt SS/SC GM STG 2) even though limiter is supposed to be 148 I saw 153 indicated...later did 148 before letting out w/ a 250+ lb passenger sitting next to me and his 120-125 lb ladyfriend behind us questioning when would the stewardesses be serving the alcohol on this flight...


The little womans ride ('06 TBSS 2WD LT) She stopped me at a little over 120 cause * zipping up flame suit* we had our little one with us...but it was a ultra smooth road w/ no traffic except for the ****** tailgaiter that WAS following us for about the last 20 miles...the ride was ultra-smooth at that speed, like it was on a glass rail...

 

I got mine up to 120 this weekend, I got a vid on my cellphone of 80-120 but it sucks so bad its not worth uploading. And I dont know how to anyway

 

Unless you have the trans setting changed... it wont shift into OD unless your goin about 255mph and 8191rpms.... atleast thats whats in stock tunes that ive seen..

 

limiter kicks in at 105...in 4th gear lol its shitty leaving 3rd at 95 & just getting stuck in 4th

 

If he's going 132, I'd guess his tune is far from stock.
