I have a 2003 chevy 4.8 and i have been clocked at 161mph.

 

holy hell, I dont know but this one time in "mexico" I tapped the speedo, after 120 I dont know!

132mph for me...........it had a lot of pull left in her too. I want to know what the top end is but some people say not to let it shift into fourth gear. Or it's not a good idea too. I was going to go to the Texas mile this year to see just how fast it would go but after talking to people bout the shifting into fourth..........I'll pass.

I pulled 130 or so on the dyno. did about the same on the highway according to the rpm.

 

have done 115 on 33's with stock rim, was very very bad choice. since then i've got 17's with the stock size tire and have pegged my esky cluster speedo a couple times now (120mph) and is smooth as butta

 

140 is the fastest I know I've gone. I had plenty of wide open road
