The shocks don't look too difficult to replace, I am just wondering what to replace mine with....

Yeah, I was looking at those too...but I really wanna work on making my truck handle really well...those just look like they just are designed for lowered trucks and not necessarily handling. I thought about running some KYB's since our trucks only have a minimal drop, A high end set of KYB's should work pretty well for handling.

If you still have the ground force (stock) shocks in there i'd change them asap. When i changed mine with 40000 on the truck, 2 shocks wouldnt compress and the others wouldnt open....they were shot. Put in some KYBs and you will be amazed how much better the truck rides and handles. The shocks are the easiest things to change. I love doin suspension stuff.

I will agree with this. I think after my 2nd trip down the 1/4 i started noticing the rear wasnt quite as nice as it used to be. But, I twisted my driveshaft in october, and it hit one of the shocks (tore it down the side). They def. feel better than no shock at all...

yeah mine rides like **** still got the stockers in there oh and if you guys want a good laugh....just had an alignment done on the truck & i was told that there was NEVER an alignment done on the truck before idk how true that is...but it explains why i've had the truck for 2 years & gone through 2 sets of tires

which KYB's are ideal for these trucks? would anyone recommend the gr-2?
