which KYB's are ideal for these trucks? would anyone recommend the gr-2?
If you can hang on I got my brother calling his suspension guy to get some ideas on what to run on our trucks. Give me a few days and I will find out what to run. As far as your alignment, I just had mine aligned and I had to replace the inner tie rods cause the guy said that the big rims wear them out prematurely! There 90.00 bucks a pop!

Shouldn't that (tie rods) be covered under warranty?

You can try, but they'll just argue that it was caused by something or other that is not covered under warranty.

i've had them replaced 3 times before mine ran out...it was covered under warranty...everything on our trucks is covered under warranty...you need to go back & be reimbursed!!

nah, not worth the effort. I am at 40k and my extended warranty has kicked in. So I would have had to pay 100.00 bucks anyway. Besides, doing it myself, at least I know it was done right.

I had to take mine to an alignment shop to find out. But chances are if you run big rims and you have a decent amount of mileage on your truck. You need new inner tie rod ends. I guess this is a commont problem for these trucks.
