Hey guys im back with another question ... Ok so i finnaly had to buy new tires to replace the original one's that came with it (less than 10,000 miles, what can i say other than i have a lead foot and like to burn rubber ) so NE-ways... I see in the very first post of this thread u guys had written down the tire size was 265 50 20...

I just bought these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

But, i was an idiot an should have looked at the ones that were already on it for the size. The original size that came with the truck were 275 45 20 ... when i got those BFg's above i rolled them up to the wheels i had on and they looked pretty big and i was worried about tire rubbing (on the front, i know the back should be fine) was just curious if anyone has bought this tire in peticular and know they are fine and should fit fine or if i just f'd myself out of $200 for shipping them to myself and back xD

FWIW, mine came with and was replaced with Goodyear Eagle GTII (275/45R20) first set, likewise lasted 5-10k, this set is still running strong at 45k; has seen a few trips to the track and spirited driving, prolly gettin close to time to replace em again.

But to answer your question, I think they'll be fine... you went slightly thinner with a slightly taller sidewall...

hey guys, i need some input and ideas. i love my new set of wheels, but i feel like there is some kind of detail missing. like with the all black wheel with black tires, something is lost, you know what i mean. so i got to playing around with some vinyl tape and came up with this. now if i were to add any kind of paint to the wheels it would be the same color as the truck.

the ground force kit is a 1.3/3 & chances are you're only actually at 2 in the rear...my truck came with the hanger in the lower hole...i just haven't changed it yet ...

looks good billy...maybe the center cap red as well? or if you leave the center cap black do the lug nuts in red?

how about some red incorporated into the outter rim lip, to help break up where the rim and tire meet!

I think I mentioned something color matched on the lip a while back. Don't color match the entire lip like my car, I dont think it looks good on trucks, but maybe a thin red pinstripe may look good;

Another idea may be, and I have seen it but never on an all black wheel, if you painted your inner lip (the lip that appears to be running BEHIND your spokes) red...I'll try to find a pic

like that but without the color between the spokes

if i had a plain lip i would be down for a pinstripe on the lip, but there are impressions on the lip that would screw up the overall look i think. i started looking at the inner lip and wasnt sure if that was going to work. i am currently looking for a center cap for the wheels that doesnt stick out like a 4X4 hub. i may have found some but im not sure yet.
