Thats the way to go, mine has the NVG-149 also and I love how it functions. Basically its just seamless, I cant feel mine do anything it just spins a bit when I punch it from a dead stop and goes.

Yeah I've had this one in for some time now. I got tired of breaking axles withthe 2wd case. So I rebuilt the front end and stuffed the 149 back in. After I borrowed a bunch of bearings and the chain from the 243 case.

I ran the 2wd case for about a year. It worked wonderfully. Never had an issue beside the two broken left axles and a broken detroit locker. That part sucked. But my front end was shot so I had no choice at the time.
