ANyone have 1/4 mile times on a regency rst 4.8L 5 speed?

you sure? that sounds like the new setup. the old style (99-01) has the quick-connect at the slave & the roll pin at the master. i tried to do mine (a 99) a couple years ago while the engine was out. when i got to looking at it, it's a crazy line that's half molded plastic & half flexible hose, and when i disconnected it from the master & tried to find the restriction, it felt like it was open all the way to the plastic half.

maybe one day, if my hydraulics ever go out, i'll replace it all with newer stuff & drill the line out.

Is there a coupling between the molded plastic hose and the braided steel line? If there is, it is in the braided steel line at that point. And you're right, I'm describing the 03-05 setup.

no coupling - just braided with a plastic line molded to the end of it. believe me - i tried to find a way to do this mod. us old truck guys are just SOL
