well as title says, early this year I changed oil which looked a little metaliky, ran mobile one instead of my normal Amsoil -

been chasing high IAT temps- power drop since different pulley, 6degrees of timing 11.4 afr.

Any how did a low rpm high boost pull earlier on the way to store and lost oil pressure 3200rpm @10 lbs

truck shook pretty good let out to notice 20lbs oil pressure - within 4 miles it was down to 10lbs

at 2000 rpms

silver metal flakes on dipstick when I checked at store- got towed home - hoping to save the cam shaft- doubt it though

you can make that power NA with an LQ9/243 combo. I made 403hp/419tq. With baby cam in my motor and a 60e 4 years ago

im sorry to hear that the motor crapped the bed, I hope you can salvage all your parts

I'd keep the blower. Peak power might be the same, but torque curve will never match what you have now.
Sucks that it popped. I am chasing some **** on my L67 Buick right now and it might need a motor too. All in due time you'll have her up an cruising again

I had a tsp 224/228 .581/.588 114 lsa
I also picked up a bunch of power after I went from a single 3” to a dual 3” setup that dumped before the axle

been thinking about it but I don’t have the 317 heads anymore, just the 243 and if I recall the comp was 11.1:1 or close to that- I’ve read some have ran boost with it being that high on ls2 cars

curoius to what really failed- hoping to dig into it within the week to see -

you gained a lot ? From exhaust change, I’m LT W/ORY to single stock 2.75 to 3” again over axle

never changed it from my old n/a setup but had plans to put a 3.5 duramax exhaust on just never had time to install it
