Where does this line go/attach to?

 

Its a return back to the reservoir. If you have a hydroboost power steering pump there is a fitting directly on the side, if not, you need to Tee into the return line.

 

I think this will work for an aftermarket booster

You sir, are wrong. The part pictured is a master cylinder. Not a booster.

 

Yea ****, I meant cylinder. I must have a hard time doing two things at once. So back to my intent was this master cylinder will bolt to a gm booster if it so happens to be the correct bolt pattern that wilwood says it is.

 

Do I need to replace the master cylinder or will my vacuum one work properly?

 

Several in this thread swapped over their vacuum master to avoid bleeding the brakes with no issues.

 

This afternoon I picked up a hydroboost with master cylinder and brake pedal from a 2003 Yukom Denali. It looks to have an auto brake setup on it. I'm thinking this brake pedal won't work and that the master cylinder will at least need a different reservoir.
