Not sure where you are from but usually about $75 to turn a crank. I can get it done for less, but the Quality is also less... I know some one else who charges about $95 But thats because he send it out. Basically paying a handling fee.

Work was kinda slow yesterday, so started cleaning engine parts..... Kinda miraculous what a parts washer will do and how quickly it does so.... Did realize the l92 had something like 5 of 8 seized oil rings... And the l96 all of the rings were fine... Still waiting on my blocks

That's alright, tore down a "built" motor and it's basically a pile of scrap.

Poor guy needs to start over...

That sucks, at least i was already planning on pistons for the L92!! I will say i am ready for this little project to be done..... Would be awesome to find a 6l80 i can afford and have it all done at once, rather than modifying my harness to add vvt just to turn around and either add the 6l80 harness or swap harnesses all together.... Be real nice to find someone wanting to trade an engine for a blower.... Hell finding someone with a 6l80 that needs a rebuild that wants to trade for a 4l80 wouldnt hurt my feelings either!!!!

Had the same problem on my Father's truck, took it in just before the extended warranty ran out.

Happy happy joy joy happy happy joy joy!!! I hate ren and stimpy!!! I just picked up a 6l80 for a helluva deal, $350 shipped, granted its out of a vette and guy said its blown, i plan to build it anyway and part of that plan is a new torque converter housing and pump! Also figured out it would be less expensive to build one than to buy one.... Sat down one night and could get most of the parts including the rebuild kit for less than a reman cost!!!
