They feel much better then old worn out shocks. Dont know how much better they would really be compared to a more budget shock like a rancho or what not. But the quality appearance is worth the extra money. Plus they are on amazon prime!

The foa shocks were only 2 years ago, the part that had me was they didn't even make it here without leaking. I ordered em and they were shipped pretty fast and they did send a new one out. About 6 months later they leaked again but i ended up revalving them for the opposite end of the truck right after that. Anyway aslong as you have luck with them and the service is good thats a plus.

Those strut bars you can probably make a set with heavy wall tube and weld the bushings to the ends. I know ruff stuff specialties and barnes 4wd sells the bushings with the tube. I have the biggest ones on my traction bars.

That stinks but hey atleast you have kings now which is what I wish I could afford lol.

I was actually looking at ruff stuff today havent ordered from there in awhile but man I love that place. Still had a shopping cart full of steering stuff for an old project haha.

Picked up the ladder bar and cross member from powder coating today. Guy did an amazing job very happy with it and the color came out good! A little darker then my wheels but it sparkles great in the sunlight. which it will never see because its under the truck oh well.

Got ahold of both tie rods today, only difference i saw was the stud is larger on the hd tie rods.... Both same length from center of the stud to the end of the treaded part of the tie rod!! Wondering if boring out the spindle would be feasible??

Been looking at fabtech/cognito and rareparts and i do believe super steer makes the hd aftermarket tie rods, for some reason the 1500 sets when theyre even available are more expensive and typically smaller diameter then the 2500hd units, and are typically sold individually where the hd specific ones are sold as a set.... Makes no sense to me.....

If you can bore out the hole and fit HD tierods do it! I would totally do it when I need to replace mine next but I dont want to be the guinie pig. I doubt a 1500 even with 35s or 37s would kill Stout HD tierods like that. Since they dont have the weight of the Dmax on them.

Seems like a good project for a sticky

The tie rod bolts in the spindle are tapered...good luck trying to drill that exactly. I think ruffstuff might sell just the taperd bolt for the 1500s.

A buddy of mine put 2500 knuckles on his 1500. I believe he said the 1500 went in the same hole no issue. I believe the tapper is similar between the 2 spindles.
