How much travel do you think a set of uniball UCAs would give? deciding if its worth it or not.

You can keep that 95* crap!!!!! Especially here at sea level, with 85-110% humidity.... It is ridiculous!!

Not sure about the driver side being preloaded more than the other, unless maybe they need to settle or something??

Considering that is what most of the long travel suspensions use, problem is on 4wd you have an axle and end up having to use limit straps to keep from over extending the cv axles..... Not really sure the benefit would be worth it on 4wd setup.....

Limit straps are on the to do list for sure. I certinally dont want a full long travel set up kindajust trying to piece together my own mid travel kit. I really just need to cycle the suspension and watch everything to figure out what binds and measure how much uesable travel I have now.

If the UCA isnt binding I guess the only real benifit would be the uniball rather then ball joints but they have their ups and downs.

Uniballs do give you a lot more articulation, theoretically without binding, problem at that point is you still have lower ball joints..

Yeah and nobody makes uniball LCAs unless you go to a long travel kit and thats to much money to much work and I dont want my tires pushed out 6in on each side lol.

One day when I have all the money in the world I will have fabricator build a set of boxed LCAs with uniballs and a coilover mount built in. but that wouldnt be cheap at all!

At that point you may be better off with a long travel setup.....

Huh that would be somthing to go look at in person at a parts store! might do that I need to return the front shocks I had on for 3 weeks

If they are just beefier then that would be an awesome swap idea!
