According to the diesel bros on the internet a dual disk is required when over 500hp or towing 15k+ on a regular basis. This 6.0 better make more than 500hp but I'll never tow that much and the torque I'll make over 500hp will still not be what a diesel would make. Since the dual disks apparently drive like crap I'm thinking an upgraded "stage 2" single disk with suffice.

Never had an issue driving a dual disk southbend but the triple did drive better. I'd think a dual disk on a 6.0 gasser would be a waste of money. It'll make what, 500-600ftlbs of torque? A quality single should hold that.

500hp from a diesel is like 3x the torque as 500hp from a gas engine.

That's exactly my thoughts. I'm 99% sold on getting a single disk my next quarrel is which friction material and finding more information on the 13in upgrade.

Take a vacation to Disney or the beach and come get them. I will likely turn the 4.8 into a 383 to replace the 6.0 in the Tahoe and I don't think they would be a good fit.

Will probably have the rods and pistons up for sale as well they are 2005 so gen 4.

Disney is a cult. If your bringing a stroller make sure to lock it up when unattended they like to walk off and end up on ebay.

Do you want a cheap set of 862s?

We have Disneyland here and I never go. The junk yard is much more fun!
