If you are worried about tie rods look into the FFR heim kit. Very nice.

More looking at the fact most of the hd tie rods assemblies are for the hd trucks, only ones i have found so far have been the rare parts tie rods for the 1500s....

Wow those FFR tie rods are really nice especially for that price! Beats the heck of the cognitos price wise and from reviews seems like they last longer to. Next time I kill a tierod I think I might be getting a set of those!

Ordered 600lbs springs should be here tomorrow. still amazied at how much smoother it rides. Theres a set of rail road track on my way to work that used to hurt it was so rough. But today I railed it at 60mph and hardly felt a thing its like magic!

Also does anyone know the name of the 2 bars that run next to the torsion bars up to the cross member. Its part of the lift just don't know what they are called and wondering if I should keep them or not.

I believe theyre called strut rods.... I took mine out for time being til i can get my headers in, wouldnt siggest doing a lot of offroading without them in, they are supposed to be there to add support to the rear lift bracket... The front iirc bolts to the front crossmember and the control arm pockets, the rears are just in the control arm pockets....

My "strut rods" are pretty rusted and I think one is bent from hopping a log once apon a time. I think im gonna take them off just to inspect them and if its really bent ill send them to my fabricator to get beefed up oor have new ones made and if not just to get powder coated. I like that they are there kinda as skid arm type thingys for when I do decide to climb trees and what not.

Which auto part store do you work at? I have O Reilly's auto zone and napa here. I could swing by them somtime this week and check them out. I would be surprised if hiems were illegal in any state tho. I dont really see why they would be.

Oh also I think the LSD the shop replaced mine with is a yukon dura grip I just happened to see an add for them on summit and they had purple springs so i googled it and BAM!! https://www.google.com/search?q=yuko...tjD0oQ_AUIBygC

I guess its a clutch pack not worm drive like a TT which kinda sucks but hey atleast its brand new and I can sure as hell roast both tires with it.

Anyone have anything good or bad to say about them?

one that has a service department attached to it..... None of which youve listed.... I will pm you with the specific one in minute..... Blessing and a curse at same time.... Lol!!! If your fabricator decides to beef them up i want pics!!! And i may have to order a set myself, especially if they can powder coat them a dark purple!!! Im surprised you didnt talk to the fabricator about the traction bar!!!!
VIrginia has a thing about changing any original design on suspension....technically they can give you a ticket for a lift kit, especially the procomp/superlift style which adds a bracket between the pitman and idler arms and the center link.... Technically those should never pass inspection here because of the geometry of the suspension being changed..... But typically they dont mess with you so long as nothing is blatantly out of working order!!! I need to talk to the trooper the next time i see him about the heim joints and uniball style upper control arms!!!
