Default what happened to my backseat ;)

Well, here are some pictures for my sound setup with a humongous box for two 12's. I have 2 RF Punch Stage 3 12" subs pushed by an Mtx Thunder 942 2channel amp. RF Power Component 6.5" set and RF Power 4x6" coaxials pushed by an RF Punch 4004 4-channel amp. 2 - 1 farad RF capacitors. With a Sony 8805x h/u. These pictures are kinda big so have some patience when they load up. Nevermind the dirty floors and paint wearing off inside of the port tubes. This box is approximately 6 cubic feet not counting sub displacement.

Default Sound Quality

I'm sure as you already know that a ported box is sloppy. I went from 2 small sealed enclosures. that were netting around 1 cubic foot after sub displacement. Sounded decent . I had a 9.22 db gain@ 36 hertz with a change of boxes. Rattled the roof of the cab like crazy. Which I have since thn remedied that with Accumat. It really made a difference, next project is for the doors. Just some of the cons right now, the higher the tones, its not as loud, not as tight anymore, but getting into the lower hertz and sitting in that truck makes my eyeballs want to explode lol. Set off a few building alarms before driving the truck around from behind the shop through the alley to the front of it. Set off 2 alarms across the street. The ports if you can tell arnt really that big as far size goes but it was pushing air across the room when we hooked it up to a 600watt amp. I'm putting close to a 1000 to them right now. I'm upgrading soon too. Going with Power Stage 2 12's with a Power T20001bd amp and Power T8004 4 channel. Going to run Power series 1/0 power wire and a 25 farad capacitor. Not to mention a 200amp altenator at least.

wow.. that is quite large. But hell, you still have a back seat as far as im concerned. Let the ladies ride in the back and turn up the bass... they'll enjoy the vibration to say the least, ahem.

Tis true, now if it wasnt so loud to where it would not leave you breathless, would be an improvement too lol.

BTW I do believe in playing my music loud, but I dont play it stupid.

god damn!!! for a box that size, you should have 15s in there!!!! the max for your 12 sub in a vented box is 2'. Optimal is 1.75' (per sub of course). Hell, that box is still too big for 2 15's. Max on those are 2.75. Im thinking you should step up to 3 12's, or 2 15's.

Because I've been a fan of fosgate for a while. Its mostly preference and my preference is Fosgate. I love the way their mids and highs sounds. I love the way how loud their 12's will pound in a ported box.
