We used a box builder program for the box on this one. It recommended this size box. We built it accordingly and voila.... a huge thing in my back seat that wants to leave me breathless. I'd say that program is pretty accurate. I was just stoked how much louder it was.

I used to have a Vega 124 12". I had it in a 1.5' box and went to a 3', what a difference. I think that thing would have gotten louder yet with more space, and it took very little power to run.

i had an old school us amps amp pushing it. rated at 12.5x1 but at 2ohms mono supposedly it runs 300x1 rms. those old school vegas really like a lot of room to breathe. and breathe they would.
