Tire size for 17s on 3/4 drop?

My current set up as of now, like I said I think the rears are 65s. Stupid discount tire didnt have the size I wanted so I had to get these. The front are 55s I beleive. I havnt been home in forever so I cant remember, Cant get another pic that shows the rear tires better either

Here is a similar style but 16s... 16x10 outback and 16x8 up front. Tire sizes are 315/45/16 and front are 245/45/16s. On a 3/4 drop. Name:  IMG954213.jpg

Hmmm I like those. What kind of tires? Got a pic of the rear with the 315s?

I am kind of in the same predicament. Trying to find mid series (55's) summer street tires and drag tires for 17" rims is impossible. I can find summer tires for the rims in a decent diameter, but I can't find drag tires for them unless they are super low profile. For instance General grabber UHP 275/55r17 tires I think would be perfect, 28.9 diameter fills the wheel well nicely. I can't find anything close in a drag tire that would fit a 17x7.5 rim. Any know the widest 29" dot drag radial in a 17" wheel? or even 28"+? I can't find any unless they are like 26" rubber bands.

Mickey Thompson has drag radial in 315/50/17
