I think a dropped diesel would be a welcome change from the lifted diesels I always see around where I am. I believe people are right as well when it comes to the matter of practicallity and what the use of the truck is...........but lowered diesels are just awesome!

a 3/5 with helper bags would still be perfectly functional. haul whatever you wanted to, easier to get in and out of, better mileage with smaller tires, tires will be cheaper, you could get in parking garages again, the list goes on. it would definetly stand out in a crowd...... hell, my 6'6" goofy *** looks funny getting out of my rcsb with a 4/6...... when i get out, people look surprised that i am not of hispanic descent......LOL!

Will still tow fine as long as it's setup right. My dually has a hitch and goose neck ball, just have to put a little more air in the rear bags.

I could tow just fine with it lowered, just need helper bags and Id be good to go. I dont need a 10 stage chip Ive got EFILive where I can tune it anywhere from stock to 1200hp if I want I just dont have the trans or built motor to support the tuning that I can do. Im going to go with 33s when my 35s wear out here shortly, to give myself a little more time to think about it. Maybe by the time the 33s wear out I will have learned a bit more self-control so I dont have to worry about toasting my motor.

3/5 on 22s

[/QUOTE]

I want to know more about this. I have a 1500 HD that I would love to drop like this. Mine is a 2wd, is this truck a 2wd and what does it take to lower on 3-5? What size are the tires and etc? I have had lots of lowered trucks but never a lowered 3/4 ton
