Default Thinking of dropping the Dmax

I love how it currently looks but I miss being fast. I had the stock tires on the other day while I cleaned the inside of the wheels and it felt so much faster vs the 35s. I can do a 3/5 drop over stock and use my current wheels with some tall/wide street tires(UHPs maybe) and I think it would look pretty good. Ive got a 74 bronco to use out at the deer lease now so I no longer need alot of offroad ability and a 3/5 truck would get the job done getting into my deer lease and keep me out of trouble jumping ditches. Only current pic I have of it the *** end is usually about 2" higher but you get the idea. Lowered with a built trans and MPI twins and Ive got a mid 11 second truck that I can still tow 20K with

I think lifted looks better but Im limited to what parking garages I can park in downtown when I go out, tires are 450 a piece, no spare, wears the **** out of the edge of my seat hopping out, front end never stays aligned, less power, less mileage, the list goes on as to why lowered would be better. I just dont know that I have the self control to keep the wick turned down with twins, I dont feel like building this motor, it would cost twice as much as the 420 in the Z did

I understand the parking issue... Drop her down on stocks rims for a while and see if you like it first.

Once the Toyos wear out Im going to put it back on stock rims and turn the torsion bars back down and see how I like it.
